Tampa, Florida is the latest city to reveal they want to host a WrestleMania in the near future.
Tampa Bay Sports Commission executive director Rob Higgins said that officials were going to put in a bid to host the show of shows, in either 2023, 2024, 2025.
The city has already been announced as the Superbowl 2021.
Tampa is the second Floridian city to bid on the show, with Orlando saying they intend to host WrestleMania in either 2023 or 2025.
Speaking to the Tampa Bay Times, Higgins said it made logistic sense to host the show in Tampa:
"Naturally, we think with the rich tradition of professional wrestling in our community, with so many (WWE stars) who live here, with how much passion there is for professional wrestling, that it makes a lot of sense to try to host the premier event in Wrestlemania."
Higgins also said the city would put in a bid to host the Royal Rumble, either in 2022 or 2023.
WWE executives are to meet Minnesota officials later this year to discuss hosting a Rumble there in either 2020 or 2021.
ICYMI, our bid to host a future WrestleMania will be submitted today! #TeamTampaBay, please use #WrestleBAYnia when sharing your support for bringing this great event to our hometown! @TitusONeilWWE
