Former WWE World Champion and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan is not cleared to wrestle, according to the WWE. 

Discussed on this week's SmackDown Live, Bryan did not appear due to a chest infection, that may be linked to the strikes to his chest by NXT's Roderick Strong during the Greatest Royal Rumble Match. 

As of publication, it is unclear if Bryan is actually waiting to be medically cleared. His match this Sunday at Backlash against Big Cass is still scheduled to take place.
