WWE Raw Results (4/30)

Welcome to Monday Night Raw!

We open with a replay of parts of The Greatest Royal Rumble.

Roman Reigns comes out to start the show off and they show a slideshow of images from the Universal Title match from The Greatest Royal Rumble and the controversy surrounding the outcome. Reigns says he wont make excuses and that he is the real Universal Champion even after the ref from that match said it himself on twitter. Reigns almost gets to his next point before Joe interrupts him on the titantron and of course Joe says he will put Reigns to sleep and now Jinder Mahal interrupts and tries to say he doesn’t make excuses and that Reigns does and still has a gripe with Hardy. Mahal wants a match with Reigns and sides with Joe saying he will lose to Joe at Backlash. Sami Zayn interrupts and says that he wasnt at the Rumble due to Vertigo and wants a match himself against Reigns. Owens interrupts and says something in French to the crowds liking and also wants a match against Reigns. Owens offers up a popularity contest to see who gets to face Reigns tonight between the 3 of them and now a beatdown on Reigns. Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring to save Reigns and that backfires on him and now Strowman makes his way to the ring and takes out everyone along with Reigns and Lashley.

Mickie James vs Natalya later on along with Elias vs Roode next.

Lashley, Strowman and Reigns vs Mahal, Owens and Zayn later on.

Elias vs Bobby Roode 

Elias already in the ring for a concert that gets interrupted by Roode. 

Commercial break.

Come back to the match already in progress with both men garnering for the upper hand. Elias in the corner with rights and Roode reverses with his own rights. Roode with a drop kick and now slams Elias’ head into the turnbuckle and now a Blockbuster for a 2 count. Elias hangs up Roode on the top rope and takes down Roode and now a rear chin lock which Roode fights out of. Elias with kicks on a downed Roode and then chunks Roode across the ring nothing pretty there. Elias with the chops in the corner and now a mule kick for a 2 count. 

Commercial break. 

Elias in control with a rear chin lock and Roode fights out. Roode with a couple clotheslines and now Roode with a Spinebuster for a 2 count. Bobby on the top rope with Elias and now Roode with a headbutt and a flying clothesline. Elias with a small package for a 2 count reversal by Roode for a 2 count. Elias sends Roode shoulder chest first into the steel post from the ring apron which now the ref calls for help for Roode. Elias takes to the microphone to declare himself the winner and walks off.

AOP vs Jean-Paul and Francois 

AOP make their way to the ring and now Jean-Paul and Francois make their way to the ring.

Rezar takes out Francois and now a tag to Jean who also gets flattened and now AOP with the Super Collider and the Last Chapter for the win.

After the match AOP says the Book of Pain is still open and is open to all of Raw.

Rollins is up next.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and goes over his accomplishments since Wrestlemania this year. Rollins says “Thank you” in French and the crowd loves it. Rollins says he doesn’t want to be like Lesnar and that he wants to be a fighting champion and now Balor interrupts. Finn wants a shot for the Intercontinental Title tonight and Rollins accepts and now Miztourage interrupt. Miztourage and says they should all be fighting together which leaves Balor and Rollins confused. Miztourage are still trying to bait Rollins and Balor to let them be apart of something and of course the answer is no. Miztourage attack Rollins and Balor and that backfires on them. Balor takes out Rollins after they deal with the Miztourage.

Ruby Riott vs Sasha Banks 

Riot Squad make their way to the ring and now Sasha Banks backstage and gets asked if shes hashed things out with Bayley and it hasn’t gotten any better. Sasha makes her way to the ring. 

Both women vying for upper hand to start and Ruby with a roll up for a 2 count. Sasha catches Ruby coming off the ropes with a slap and now Sasha with a arm drag off the top rope and now working on the left arm. Ruby with a front kick to Sasha who was in between the ropes and now stomps in the corner. Ruby slams Sasha’s head into the turnbuckle and now some shoulder tackles in the corner. Sasha with a takedown and now a few rights. Sasha with the foot to the face of Riott in the corner and now a Straighjacket hold. Sasha with a hip toss and takedown for a 2 count. Sasha back to the left arm and Ruby knocks Sasha off the apron. Sasha with a baseball slide taking out Ruby on the outside.

Back with Ruby working on the left arm and side of Sasha. Ruby with a drop kick sending Sasha into the turnbuckle and now a STO for a 2 count. Ruby blasting Sasha’s head off the mat and now a kick to the midsection side of Sasha. Sasha off the middle rope with a cross body for a 2 count. Sasha with clotheslines into a drop kick. Ruby with a cannonball off the second rope and a 2 count and another 2 count. Riott Squad with the ref distraction breaking the Bank Statemet. Ruby with a straight right to Sasha and now a kick for the win.

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Title tonight.

Titus backstage with Renee and with the replay of his slip at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Titus says he just flat out fell and Corbin interrupts him. 

Hardy and Wyatt with one of their original promos. 

Replay of the closing moments of the 10-Women tag match from last weeks Raw.

Reigns, Lashley and Strowman vs Mahal, Owens and Zayn

Mahal is out first, now Zayn and Owens make their way to the ring, now Strowman makes his way to the ring. Lashley now makes his way to the ring and last but not least Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Mahal and Reigns start off and tags to Zayn and now to Owens and back to Zayn. Roman with a right to Zayn and Roman sends him out of the ring and now Zayn into the barricade with Reigns with a Drive By on Owens and Zayn.

Commercial break.

Reigns with Zayn in the corner and now Mahal tags himself in and rights to Reigns in the corner. Reigns tags in Lashley and now an elbow takedown on Mahal. Lashley with a clothesline and now Zayn tags himself in. Zayn with a boot to the chin in the corner on Lashley and now Lashley with a neckbreaker and a running clothesline and shoulder tackle in the corner on Zayn. Zayn tags to Owens and Owens stomping on Lashley. Mahal tagged in now with Lashley in their corner with knees and Owens back in with a kick to the back of Lashley and now a chin lock on Lashley. Owens with the running senton for a 2 count and after a little beatdown back to the rear chin lock. Lashley sends Owens face first into the mat and now Zayn and Reigns in. Reigns taking down Zayn and a clothesline out of the corner and a uppercut to Mahal. Reigns in the corner on Zayn with clotheslines and now Sunil getting tossed in the ring and a right to Zayn but a tag to Owens. 

Commercial break 

Zayn in control of Reigns as we return and now a right from both men. Reigns with a few shots of his own and dragging him to make the tag to Owens. Owens off the middle rope with a twist splash for a 2 count and back in Zayn. Zayn with rights to Reigns and a 2 count. Owens back in and Reigns takes out Mahal and Zayn. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Owens and now Mahal in taking out Lashley. Reigns with a Samoan Drop to Mahal and now Strowman in. Strowman with a clothesline to Mahal and bulldozing Owens and Zayn on the outside. Strowman takes out Zayn and Owens on the outside and Mahal moves out of the way sending Strowman shoulder first into the ring post. Lashley takes out Zayn and Mahal takes out Lashley. Owens with a Superkick to Reigns and Strowman. Strowman with the Running Powerslam to Owens for the win.

No Way Jose vs Baron Corbin next.

Replay of some parts of the Greatest Royal Rumble again.

Baron Corbin vs No Way Jose

Corbin makes his way to the ring and Corbin heckling the crowd on his way down and hates characters like Jose and Titus and now Jose makes his way to the ring. Replay of last weeks ambush on Jose by Corbin.

Jose with rights and Corbin sent into the corner out of the ring and back in with a clothesline. Jose sends Corbin over the top rope and then a kick and right hand. Corbin sends Jose into the ring post shoulder first and now Titus interrupts and grabs the attention of Corbin and Titus slips up on the ring apron and falls off and Jose with the quick roll up from behind for the win.

Natalya vs Mickie James next.

Natalya vs Mickie James 

Mickie James wth Alexa make their way to the ring and now Natalya with Rousey make their way to the ring.

Natalya going right after the arm Rousey attacked last week. Natalya with a basement drop kick for a 2 count. James sends Natalya face first into the middle turnbuckle and now with a kick and 2 count. Natalya with an elbow and now the discus clothesline. James with the shot to the knee and now Rousey stalking Bliss on the outside. Natalya with a roll up for the win.

Winner Natalya

After the match Nia comes out and chases Bliss down the ramp.

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship is next.

McIntyre and Ziggler in a closet of sorts telling them the roster should be afraid of them.

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship 

Balor makes his way to the ring and now Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Both men vying for the upperhand to start off and now Rollins with a takedown and sending Balor out of the ring and taking out Balor from over the top rope.

Commercial break.

We are back with Rollins in control and now both men trading shots. Balor with repeated takedowns on Rollins off the ropes and now Rollins with the Blockbuster. Rollins into the corner and sends Balor facefirst into the turnbuckle. Rollins with a suicide dive and now Balor with a kick stopping a second suicide dive attempt. Finn with a DDT and a 2 count. Balor with a drop kick and a backwards elbow drop for a 2 count. Balor with chops in the corner on Rollins and now Rollins with a Slingblade out of the corner and now the knee for a 2 count. Rollins with a kick to the midsection and Balor with a right. Balor with a standing double stomp and now a kick to the face. Rollins with a superplex and Balor with the Falcon Arrow for a 2 count. Both men trading shots now and trading kicks. Balor over the top rope taking out Rollins on the outside and now with the running drop kick and up to the top rope and now trading pin combos. Rollins with a kick and now both men down and the stomp for the win.
