Wrestling personality Kevin Sullivan has heaped praise on IMPACT! Wrestling and Lucha Underground star Pentagon Jr., describing him as a future Hall of Famer. 

In an interview with SportsKeeda, Sullivan said he believes that the torch of the massively-popular masked wrestler has been passed from Rey Mysterio to Pentagon, citing similarities between the two. 

He said: "He wears colourful outfits, puts on great performances and just connects with the audience. He’s also won the Heavyweight Championship with Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground. They wouldn’t be making him champion in all of these promotions if he didn’t have something special in him."

"He beat Rob Van Dam at our last show, and he beat John Morrisson. Guys just don’t become champions in multiple promotions if they didn’t have something special.”

Pentagon captured the IMPACT! Championship at Redemption, defeating Rey Fenix and then-champion Austin Aries, but lost the title to Aries at the next IMPACT! TV event.
