John Cena has said he still loves Nikki Bella with all his heart, despite their split earlier this month. 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 16-time World Champion has said the choice to break up simply sucks. 

He said: "There’s no other way to say that. I love Nicole with all my heart and that’s that.”

The pair dated for 6 years, with Cena proposing at WrestleMania 33, before announcing their break up on April 16.

Cena also spoke about his upcoming role in Bumblebee: The Movie, an upcoming Sci-Fi film about the famous yellow and black Transformer. 

"Bumblebee is such a popular Transformer and now we’re going to go on a journey with Bumblebee to answer a lot of questions about Bumblebee and I’m just happy to be along for the ride," he said.
