Madison Square Garden Pays Tribute To Bruno Sammartino

Madison Square Garden decided that they would pay homage to the late Bruno Sammartino due to his passing. They posted a billboard up saying "MGS Remembers Bruno Sammartino".

"The Living Legend" held the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship (WWWF Heavyweight Championship during his second reign) for over 11 years (4,040 days) across two reigns, the first of which is the longest single reign in the promotion's history at 2,803 days.

Sammartino is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all times. Below is one of the matches he had at the Madison Square Garden.
