Speculation regarding Rusev's status has been much the topic of discussion of late after a rumor surfaced that he was looking to leave the company. This was only fueled further when he recently removed WWE references from his Twitter account and also unfollowed @WWE.

Today however, Jimmy Traina of SI.com made contact with WWE about Rusev, below is what he had to say:

Wrestling fans, I asked the WWE if Rusev has left the company. WWE said those rumors are not true, he is still with the company and he will be in the Royal Rumble match at Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. #RusevDay
