According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE plans on putting more focus on their United Kingdom Championship Division throughout 2018.
They have reportedly re-signed who they consider to be the "top five" of the division, which is current U.K. Champion "The Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, as well as inaugural champion Tyler Bate, Wolfgang Young, Trent Seven, and Mark Andrews. They were all said to have been signed to more lucrative contracts.
They have also reportedly signed U.K. talents Zack Gibson and Joe Coffey.
WWE still plans on doing a weekly television program devoted to their U.K. Championship Division, as well as opening a Performance Center somewhere in the U.K.
