The announcement made by WWE yesterday that Daniel Bryan has been cleared for in-ring action came as a shock to many but also left fans wondering if there were any conditions attached to his return to the ring, such as a part-time schedule or even a limited move set.Â
As far as we know, Bryan will be making a full-time return with no major amendments to his schedule. Dave Meltzer noted in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the only condition WWE stipulated is that he has regular concussion testing:Â
"The only difference between him and every other wrestler on the roster is that part of his agreement when getting WWE to send him to leading neurologists of Maroon's choosing to get evaluated, is that he agreed, after every match, until WWE was comfortable that he was okay, he would go to the WWE doctors backstage and get Impact testing and a neuropsychological evaluation done."
