WWE could be on the cusp of another steroid scandal following recent revelations by filmmaker and reporter Jon Bravo who recently released interviews with former Iron Addicts Gym owner Richard Rodriguez regarding clients of his steroid distribution ring.
Those clients are believed to include WWE Superstars with the most high profile being Roman Reigns, actors such as Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel have also been implicated. The reason Rodriguez has released this information is in order to get a better plea deal.
The matter is believed to be so serious that WWE actually has a backup plan for WrestleMania 34 should they have to pull Roman Reigns from the big event due to bad publicity. In fact, just yesterday Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted Braun Strowman was pulled from the WrestleMania 34 singles match with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in the event he has to replace Reigns against WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
You can also bet WWE is lining up a legal team to defend Reigns and their image as a publically traded company.
Rodriguez recently had the following to say regarding WWE Superstars using steroids to enhance their bodies:
"Well, we all know that WWE is a publicly traded company and they claim to possess some of the most strict testing requirements for their athletes," said Rodriguez. "However, the harsh reality is those kind of physiques are never attainable without drugs... you cannot walk around 250-plus pounds, four percent body fat, without using [substances]. Hence why it's sad to see these kind of people that are considered role models mislead the public and their follower."
As for when we can expect the explosive film to be released, "shortly" according to Bravo who has told YouTube channel Heel By Nature that he will go into hiding after it is released:
"Hi! Video should be out here shortly... just filming the last parts now and then it is getting reviewed by my attorneys. I am going to have to hide after this video, most people don't understand that I am just investigating what someone else states... it's a tough job."
