As was previously reported, current Shine Wrestling Champion and Jersey All Pro Wrestling Women's Champion LuFisto was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer.

She posted the following update on her official Facebook page:

I will keep this one short for now (I will honestly try my best to answer all messages as soon as I can) as I just want to thank you all for your support and love. I really want to especially thank people who reached out to share their stories about depression and cancer.

I saw some reports making my situation look worse than it is. I’m not dead, not dying. It was caught at an early stage and there is lots of hope. Actually, with all my wrestling sisters and brothers, fans and colleague reaching out, I feel like I have thousands of tag team partners in this fight.

On Monday, it’s back to the hospital to figure things out and hopefully to get answers this time. Until then, I will see some of you at Nova Pro tonight and Glory Pro this Sunday.
