WWE is rumored to be returning to a dual-branded pay-per-veiw format, starting with WWE Backlash on May 6, 2018. There has also been some been internal discussion regarding the idea of bringing back the WWE Draft at the upcoming Backlash event.

This year's WWE Backlash event was originally scheduled to be a RAW PPV, will now be a dual-branded show after Ticketmaster sent out a notification which said the event will be a combined RAW and SmackDown Live show.

Despite duel-branded events, the roster will still remain separated on RAW and SmackDown Live.
