On tonight's edition of WWE Raw, John Cena and Intercontinental Champion The Miz faced off in a singles match after the challenge was issued by Cena at the beginning of the broadcast. 

Cena emerged victorious over Miz, and per the stipulation recommended by Cena and made official by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, Miz will be the first participant to enter the Men's Elimination Chamber Match at the upcoming Raw-exclusive WWE Elimination Chamber event.
