As was seen on this week's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, The Miz defeated Roman Reigns to become an eight-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, making him just shy of Chris Jericho's record-setting nine Intercontinental Title reigns.

It's being reported that The Miz is in line to receive a rather considerable push on Raw in the coming months. WWE wants to draw as much attention as they can to Miz and Maryse's upcoming reality show, Miz and Mrs. on USA Network, and there is also talk of having The Miz in a headline match at WrestleMania 34.

No word yet on who his opponent might be at WrestleMania.
