Enzo Amore Released From WWE Following Rape Allegation

WWE has released a brief statement on their official website in which they announce WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been released from his contract. The statement reads:

"WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore)."

There is no usual wishing the best in his future endeavors.

On Monday, Amore was suspended by WWE following an investigation by police in Arizona for an alleged rape of a woman in a hotel room last year.

A woman on Twitter known as 'MissGucciwitch' publicly accused the WWE Superstar of rape on Twitter. The incident is alleged to have taken place in October 2017 in a hotel where she claims Enzo restrained her before he raped her.

Arizona Police reportedly have an open investigation into the now former WWE Superstar.
