- Kevin Owens hasn't had a match since the January 9th’s episode of SmackDown Live when he teamed with Sami Zayn against the the team of Shinsuke Nakamura, WWE Champion AJ Styles, and Randy Orton in a handicap match, which they lost. PWInsider is reporting that Owens is dealing with a back injury and was also pulled from the SmackDown live events at the weekend as a precaution. He is still expected to team with Sami Zayn against AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.
