Prior to the start of the Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville match on tonight's edition of WWE Raw, announcer Tom Phillips (filling in for Michael Cole) made the announcement that due to a neck injury, Paige will be unable to compete in the first-ever 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match at the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

As previously reported, Paige reportedly suffered the injury during a Six-Woman Tag Team Match at a WWE live event in Uniondale, New York last month after taking a kick from Sasha. It was also recently reported by multiple sources that Paige has since been informed that she will not be cleared to return to the ring and must retire; however, neither WWE nor Paige have officially confirmed this as of yet.
