Update Regarding Chris Jericho Possibly Working A Future NJPW Event

As previously reported, Chris Jericho, who lost to IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega at New Japan Pro Wrestling's recent Wrestle Kingdom 12 event, attacked Tetsuya Naito during the company's New Year's Dash event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer, the surprise attack on Naito by Jericho was done in order to set up a match between the two at the upcoming NJPW USA: Strong Style Evolved event, which will take place on March 25th at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California.

The Walter Pyramid formerly hosted the 2017 NJPW G1 Special, a two-night event which saw Kenny Omega become the inaugural IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

The full match card and further information regarding tickets will soon be posted on New Japan Pro Wrestling's official website, which you can access by clicking here.
