Sportskeeda.com is reporting that during a Ring of Honor live event this past Friday night in San Antonio, Texas, ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes appeared to take shots at WWE and NXT, as NXT was also holding a live event of their own in the same city that evening.
Rhodes noted that both companies were holding events in San Antonio, and even took a shot at WWE issuing a cease and desist order against The Young Bucks for using the "too sweet" gesture by attempting to use the gesture himself.
Additionally, Rhodes made the assertion that WWE had some trouble with selling tickets for the NXT event in San Antonio, while his wife Brandi posted on her official Twitter page that the ROH live event was sold out and the meet-and-greet for the event had a record turnout:
ROH San Antonio sold out and I’m hearing the meet and greet line was one for the record books. So fun! Heck of a time to be both a wrestler and a wrestling fan. Options are good! #ROHsanantonio #WOH #BulletClub #AmericanNightmare
