The Rock has taken to Twitter to shot down rumors that he turned down the opportunity to appear in ESPN’s 30 For 30 special on WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
A Sports Illustrated piece seems to have caused some fans to call out wrestlers who didn't appear in the documentary. The article notes that Director Rory Karpf wanted Steve Austin, Paul Heyman and The Rock to appear but failed to secure them for the film. There could, of course, have been a number of reasons for the being unable to appear, in the case of The Rock it was likely a scheduling issue.
Turned down? Not true. Ric and his fam are very good friends of mine and my family.
