According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, recently-released WWE Superstars Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young have no-compete clauses in their contracts which prohibits them from appearing for any other major promotions on television (Impact, ROH, NJPW, etc.) until the end of February, but they will still be paid by WWE until their deals are up.

As many fans are already aware, this is standard procedure for most WWE performers.
