Vince McMahon made the call to add Kurt Angle to the TLC match with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose once WWE officials realized Roman Reigns wouldn't be well enough to compete due to having the mumps, according to PWInsider. The idea was pitched on Thursday last week and Angle was given a physical on Friday in his hometown of Pittsburgh to ensure he was fit for an in-ring return.

Once he was given the all-clear WWE made the announcement of Angle's return on their official website. It is unclear if Angle will wrestle again as Sunday's appearance was a one-off deal. But given the fact Angle was given the all-clear by WWEdoctors and Angle's desire to wrestle more it would seem likely we'll see him back in the ring soon.
