As was previously reported, Raw Superstar and former NXT Champion Samoa Joe is expected to be cleared to return to action within a few weeks.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculates that Joe could be put into a program with either "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman or possibly former Universal Champion Finn Balor.

Meltzer noted that Strowman doesn't really have a storyline right now since he lost to Brock Lesnar at No Mercy, so they might book a match between Joe and Strowman at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view.

If Joe doesn't return until after TLC, Finn Balor could be a possible opponent for Joe as well, though Balor is currently penciled in to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. But if those plans fall through, we could end up seeing Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe at Survivor Series.
