Backstage News On Miz And Maryse's Announcement From Raw

During this week's edition of MizTV from Monday Night Raw, Intercontinental Champion Miz and Maryse announced that they are expecting their first child

Dave Meltzer reported in Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the couple kept it very private. Only a few people knew ahead of time. WWE talent and staff found out when they made the official announcement themselves. WWE decided to use the announcement to run an angle between Miz and Enzo Amore. Enzo interrupted Miz prompting Miz to go on a tirade about how Enzo doesn't know when to shut up and the reason he's in the Cruiserweight division is because he drove all his allies in the Raw locker room away and had nowhere else to go. Enzo called Miz a paper champion which led to a match between the two where Enzo talked more trash telling Miz' unborn child "Who's ya daddy?" This upset Miz who unloaded on Enzo leading to the Miztourage getting involved and the match ending in a disqualification
