The Reason The Undertaker Was In NYC Possibly Revealed, And It's Intriguing

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler noted on the most recent edition of his podcast "Dinner with The King" he didn't see The Undertaker backstage at Sunday's SummerSlam but he has his own theory on why The Deadman was in NYC over the weekend:

“I did not see or hear him mentioned at all [backstage at SummerSlam]. I dress in the talent relations room where at one point or another everybody on the card came through that room and I never saw him. But you know what? Here’s something that I just realized. He may have been there because they were doing scans for a new game. Everybody that was on the show that night, myself included, had to be scanned. This company, it’s not the 2K people, it’s a different game that’s gonna be coming out next year. So everybody had to have their face scans and their body scans.”

There had been some speculation that The Undertaker was backstage doing work for 2K and another explanation was that he might have been in NYC so follow up on recent medical appointments concerning his hip. Taker was last seen at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando where many believed he signaled his retirement after his loss to Roman Reigns although there is new speculation to suggest he might not be done just yet, that remains to be seen.

It is also interesting that Lawler mentions that there is a new WWE game in the works aside from 2K's WWE 2K18. What could it be?
