Possible Injury For NXT Superstar At Live Event

NXT Live Event was held on Thursday at the Cocoa Armory in Cocoa, Florida and it appears that NXT superstar Buddy Murphy may have suffered an ankle or leg injury in the main event of the show.

Murphy was teamed up with Kassius Ohno to take on the pairing of Hideo Itami and The Velveteen Dream in a tag team match. In the early stages of the match, Murphy went down after landing badly on his ankle.

Trainers came out to check on Murphy for a moment and Referee Drake Wuertz came down a few minutes later to talk to Murphy who agreed to go to the backstage area to get checked out. This led to Ohno being forced to work the match solo. Below are results from the live event

— Singles Match: Aleister Black defeats Marcel Barthel
— Singles Match: Nick Miller (w/Shane Thorne) defeats Chad Lail
— Singles Match: Ember Moon defeats Bianca Belair
— Tag Team Match: Hideo Itami & The Velveteen Dream defeat Buddy Murphy & Kassius Ohno
