WrestlingNewsSource.com has learned that former National Wrestling Alliance promoter Elliott Murnick has passed away at the age of 75.
According to Murnick's daughter, Anna, as well as Murnick's obituary, he passed away Monday at his home in Raleigh, North Carolina. He had just celebrated his birthday this past Friday.
Famed professional wrestling journalist Bill Apter has posted the following regarding Murnick's passing on his official website, 1Wrestling.com:
"Very sad to learn of his death. Elliott was one of my favorite persons in the days when I covered matches in the Jim Crockett Promotions area. He was always so very gracious to me, the photographers and writers I used to send there. Never a bad word was heard about him. Rest in peace my friend."
