According to PWInsider.com, if Paige's x-rays come back good, she will be cleared to return to in-ring competition very shortly.

As for her future in WWE, it's been reported numerous times now that WWE officials don't really have anything planned for her and that she may not even be interested in returning to WWE. It's also been reported that the only thing that might spark a WWE comeback is the fact that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson worked closely with her and her family for their biopic, Fighting with My Family, which features former Impact Wrestling star and recent WWE signee Thea Trinidad. That film is currently expected to be released at some time in 2018.

Paige's WWE contract reportedly expires in 2019.
