The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that according to WWE, India comes out as the number one market surpassing even the United States Of America when one includes all forms of WWE product related consumption. On the basis of product consumption, India is at the first position followed by USA and South Africa

Since consumption and income are two different things, when it comes to India there arises an issue. WWE does not really earn much from the Indian market. Therefore, tackling this obstacle, a brand new WWE office has opened in India in order to gain more revenue from the Indian market

This increase in attention towards India comes at a time when Impact Wrestling has ended its tour of India. Both companies are looking to expand their markets in India as there is a colossal wrestling fandom

It has also been reported that for this very reason, Jinder Mahal's reign as WWE Champion will not be short lived. Plans, however, can always change as WWE has no tour plans set for India any time soon
