Jesus Rodriguez, better known to WWE fans as Ricardo Rodriguez, has retired from in-ring action at the age of 31. Rodriguez was part of Alberto Del Rio’s act as his personal ring announcer during Alberto’s first run with the company.

On his personal Facebook account, he wrote, “So I have decided to hang up the boots and just train/teach. I’m better at that, anyways, plus real life is getting in the way.”

After his WWE run, he wrestled on the independent scene and worked alongside Alberto Del Rio during a short run with AAA in Mexico
