Finish of Women's Championship Match Was Changed The Day Of Payback

Alexa Bliss became the first Superstar to hold both the RAW Women's Title and the SmackDown Women's Title with her win over hometown girl Bayley at Payback this past Sunday.

Wrestling Observer is reporting that the title change almost did not happen. The finish was changed multiple times in a matter of a day before match time. As of last Saturday, the plan was for Bayley to retain the RAW Women's Championship . That finish changed very early Sunday morning, then two more times during right before the PPV.
