WWE announced on Monday night's edition of Raw that Chris Jericho will defend the United States Championship against Kevin Owens on this coming Tuesday night's edition of SmackDown LIVE in a rematch from Sunday night's Raw-exclusive Payback event.

Jericho defeated Owens at Payback to regain the championship, which, as a result, also moved Jericho to SmackDown LIVE.
