The idea for Charlotte Flair is to make her become the face of the Smackdown Live brand, according to a report by The Wrestling Observer newsletter. That is why they did the babyface on this week’s episode.  At the end of this week’s Smackdown Live, they had Natalya, Carmella and Tamina beat down Flair in an attempt to garner sympathy. It has become obvious that she  is a babyface and the story is that she will have to overcome the odds.

The plan for her to be the top babyface of the brand has always been the long-term goal.
