WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon's life story is heading to the big screen in a biopic titled, "Pandemonium" which will be produced by Tristar Pictures who recently secured the rights, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who were behind the hit television drama "This Is Us" are in talks to direct the film. Craig A. Williams wrote the script, and Andrew Lazar, who produced American Sniper, is producing the project along with Michael Luisi, president of WWE Studios, and Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment. Charlie Gogolak of Zaftig Films will executive produce.
The project has been under consideration for a while but without the blessing of WWE and McMahon himself, the film wasn't going to see the light of day. However, when Lazar secured McMahon's life right Tristar reportedly jumped at the chance to make the film and went all out to impress WWE in their recent pitch. They even reportedly decorated their offices with WWE merchandise.
