Former WWE Superstar Evan Bourne officially made his debut with Impact Wrestling at Friday night's television tapings.

Competing under his Matt Sydal ring name, fans in attendance at the tapings note that he faced Trevor Lee, winning with a Shooting Star Press.

Sydal is no stranger to Impact Wrestling, as his last stint with the company was back in 2004-2005, when the company was still known as TNA Wrestling. He competed at the very first TNA Victory Road pay-per-view event in a 20-Man X Division Gauntlet for the Gold Match. Sydal was also a candidate in an online fan poll to determine who would face Christopher Daniels for the TNA X Division Championship at TNA Sacrifice; however, he was not selected.
