As part of the ongoing WWE Superstar Shakeup, "The Drifter" Elias Samson has become Raw's newest roster member, moving to the brand from NXT. Samson appeared on the entrance stage during an Eight-Man Tag Team Match pitting The Hardy Boyz and Sheamus & Cesaro against Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and The Shining Stars.

Samson becomes the first NXT talent to move to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup, joining Apollo Crews, The Miz, Maryse, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, Curt Hawkins, and Bray Wyatt, all formerly of SmackDown LIVE.

Samson previously lost a "Loser Leaves NXT" Match to Kassius Ohno on the March 29th edition of NXT on the WWE Network.
