On Monday night's edition of WWE Raw, it was announced that Neville will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Austin Aries at the upcoming Raw-exclusive WWE Payback event, which will take place in three weeks live on the WWE Network.

Aries previously won a Fatal 4 Way Match on a recent edition of 205 Live to become the number-one contender for the title.
