WWE Raw Results (4/3)

Welcome to the Raw after Wrestlemania 33, coming to you live from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida! We're only 24 hours removed from the big show and have plenty of fallout to expect. Who will be the first challenger to Brock Lesnar and his title? Will Roman Reigns, after retiring the Undertaker, look elsewhere for a new challenge? Will Raw become broken with the return of the Hardy Boyz? Will Triple H and Stephanie McMahon be out for blood after being embarrassed at the hands of Seth Rollins? Will Any NXT call-ups or returns take place? Get answers to these and more by refreshing here every 5 minutes for all your live coverage needs!

We kick things off with a replay of Wrestlemania's main event, Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker. It's a pretty awesome highlight reel ending with Taker's farewell. "Undertaker" chants fill the arena as we head to the live crowd. It goes for a solid couple of minutes, showing how much they care for him. Then it turns into a duel chant with "Roman Sucks". On cue, Reigns comes out to a deafening amount of boos. He get's in the ring and "Delete" chants break out. He paces around the ring as a huge "F@#k You Roman" chant breaks out. Multiple other chants insulting Roman break out, not allowing him to speak. This goes on for a good 5 minutes. Every time he raises his mic he is pelted with boos. He finally get's a chance to speak and simply says "It's my yard now". The biggest boos so far break out as he exits the ring.

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson vs. The Hardy Boyz (c)

The Hardy Boys come out to a big ovation as they head to the ring. Jeff and Karl start the match, with Jeff getting the early advantage. He tags  in Matt after some offense and they do and double leg drop for a near fall. Matt rams Karl's head into the corner but gets caught with an elbow. He takes advantage wit ha charge but gets caught with a Side Effect. He then attempts a Twist of Fate but gets reversed, with Luke looking to help in the ring. Jeff comes to Matt's aid and they both throw Luke and Karl out of the ring as we head to break.

We return from break with Luke in control of Matt, cornering him. Karl tags in and they do a back suplex neck breaker for a near fall. Karl pummels Matt on the ground and elbows Jeff of the apron. Luke tags back in and tags him with strikes. Karl tags in and continues to ground Matt as he fights to get the tag. He then corners and connects a bit knee before tagging Luke back in. Matt tries to fight back but eats a huge boot. Luke then charges but misses allowing Jeff to get the tag and unleash a flurry of offense on Luke for a near fall. Luke escapes to the outside but is caught with a Poetry in Motion of the steel steps. Jeff returns tot he ring after Luke and climbs the turnbuckle but gets caught by a double team interference, taking a Gloom and Doom for a near fall. They then try for the Magic Killer but Matt saves him and tags in, Taking out Karl and delivering a Twist of Fate with a Swanton assist from Jeff for the pinfall.

WINNER: THE HARDY BOYZ

ANNOUNCEMENT: Seth Rollins will team with Chris Jericho to take on Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. 

SINGLE MATCH: Adrian Neville vs. Mustafa Ali

He takes a mic and tells the audience he did everything he said he was going to do, calling Aries a better talker than a fighter. He says they can disrespect his tactics but can't deny the results. He says tomorrow they will celebrate but tonight he will show them his results again, as he is interrupted by Mustafa ali. Neville corners him early in the match bu Ali gets away as the two trade charging offense with Ali showing off some great acrobatics. Neville escapes to the outside but is cut by a plancha and tossed back in the ring. Neville takes the opportunity to regain the advantage with a strong kick and he throws Ali to the outside.

We return from break with Ali in a headlock, with no one paying attention. This irritates Neville and he takes it out on Ali. He whips Ali but gets caught by a big dropkick. The two fight on the apron but Ali dives through the ropes and connects a big neckbreaker. The two grapple with Neville getting the upper hand with a back suplex and a huge kick for a nearfall. Neville pummels Ali and corners him, who takes him to the top and attempts a superplex. Ali counters into a top rope flip flatliner.. The two get back to their feet and exchange offense with Ali connecting a reverse Frankensteiner for a near fall. Ali tries for the inverted 450 but misses, allowing Neville to tease a Red Arrow before applying the Rings of Saturn for the win.

WINNER: NEVILLE

BACKSTAGE: A car pulls up and out pops...Vince McMahon! He makes his way to the ring as we head to break.

Vince McMahon heads to the ring to a big ovation as everyone sings his song. Vince looks puzzled and grabs a mic. Before he can talk everyone chants "Roman sucks". He tells them thanks you, and for helping Wrestlemania live up to it's potential. He then announces that next week there will be a superstar shake up. He also plays footage of Stephanie McMahon being put through a table, and says she'll be out of action for some time. The crowd wildly cheers and chants "delete" which angers McMahon. He says the show must go on and that he will name a new GM. He says it's a newly inducted Hall of Famer, as Teddy Long comes out thinking it's him. Vince says it's someone else, and Teddy replies with "My Bad". He then announces the real new GM, Kurt Angle! Angle basks in the cheers for a minute before addressing the audience. He says it's great to be back on Raw, and that "It's true, oh it's damn true" before leaving the ring to a big applause. 

The New Day kick things off after the break with Road Warrior cosplay and a backpack of Booty Os . They have their ice cream with them as well. Big E says Mania was so thrilling that the blood from his head went straight to his Kofi cuts him off. They say that while it was fun they wish they had wrestled. They issue an open challenge to any one who wants to wrestle them. Answering the call is...THE REVIVAL!

TAG TEAM MATCH: The Revival vs. The New Day

They come to the ring with a purpose and knock over the ice cream as they get in the faces of the New Day.  Dawson and Woods start things off with Dawson and Dash taking it to Woods early. Woods is whipped and reverses with a head scissors. Woods whips him to the enemy corner which Dawson takes advantage of with a tag and armbar DDT as we head to break. We return with Dawson in control of Woods. He makes a quick tag to Dash who sticks his knee out so Dawson can slam Woods' head into it. Dash pick apart Woods in the corner. Dash goes for a superplex but Woods fights out and connects with a missile dropkick. Dawson tags in to intercept Woods before he can make the tag but he slithers through to tag Big E who unloads on Dawson. Dawson escapes to the outside but Big E follows with a dive which he misses thanks to Dash. Woods is then double teamed by the Dash and Dawson and has no one to tag in. They connect the Shatter Machine for the pinfall victory. 

WINNER: THE REVIVAL

The Revival gang up on Kofi who takes a ankle breaker before they leave the ring with the victory.

BACKSTAGE: Enzo and Cass are talking to Kurt Angle. They do their normal promo and Angle responds with "Not at any college I know." Enzo and Cass are not happy that they left empty handed, especially with the Hardy Boyz being added into the match. Angle says he will put them in a match with Sheamus and Cesaro. 

SIX MAN WOMEN'S TAG: Sasha Banks, Bayley and Dana Brooke vs. Emma, Nia Jax, and Charlotte

 Brooke  starts off with Flair until Emma tags herself in. Emma goes right after Dana with a running head smash into the corner. Dana tries to fight back but Emma keeps control, demanding Bayley tag in. She obliges and the two tie up with Emma locking in a wristlock. She twist the arm to ground Bayley for a nearfall. Emma charges Bayley in the corner but catches an elbow, and Bayley takes control for a short while until she eats a forearm before the break.

We return with Nia in control of Bayley. She tags in Charlotte who keeps control, putting Bayley in a tree of woe. Emma tags in and slides to the outside, grabbing Bayley's hair and torquing the back. Flair tags back and and connects with some hard chops. Bayley does one of her own but Charlotte corners her. She charges but is back dropped over the rope by Bayley. Bayley tries for the tag but intercepts her within inches. Bayley tries again when Flair returns to the ring and a successful tag to Banks. Sasha unloads on Charlotte with her usual offense to turn the tides in her favor as all the women pour in to help each other. This leaves Banks and Charlotte, with the former attempting the Bank Statement and the latter reversing it into a Natural Selection. Sasha absorbs it and locks in the Bank Statement tight this time for a victory. 

WINNERS: BAYLEY, SASHA BANKS, AND DANA BROOKE

Charlotte shoves her teammates, and Nia get's irritated. She attacks Flair and hits a bit leg drop.

BACKSTAGE: Sami Zayn is trying to get a good start with Angle, and he says he possesses the three Is. Angle seems a little overwhelmed with him, but Mahal interrupts upset about the Battle Royal. The two get in each other's faces and Angle makes a match between the two, insisting that the two settle their differences in the ring.

Brock Lesnar comes to the ring with his newly won Universal Championship and Paul Heyman. Heyman says he's going to tell them a story they tell their kids, and tells the story he told in their promo for Wrestlemania where Goldberg is a superhero and Brock is the beast. He finishes the story with the superhero ending up in Suplex City and getting his ass kicked. Heyman tells the kids that there is a happy ending and it's the fact that Goldberg won't be around anymore. Heyman says we are looking for new challengers. He goes down the list of people including the Hardys and Rollins. He  assures people that Lesnar is the kind of champion looking to defend his belt. He then goes to Reigns, saying that the two people that beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania should face off. The crowd continues to boo and voices that they want  to see Finn Balor. Heyman says break will deliver a dose of animal cruelty to "The Big Dog", and challenges him tonight. However, Braun Strowman answers the call instead. He says after he deals with Roman he'll have Lesnar's attention, because he definitely has his. He shoves Lesnar who calls his bluff and lays the belt down goating Strowman. Strowman decides to fight another day and leaves the ring.

BACKSTAGE: Jericho is being interviewed about his  rematch at Payback and his match tonight. He praises the crowd calling them the Friends of Jericho. He says the only thing that kept him from losing was the tip of his finger. To exact justice, he put the tip of Kevin Owens' finger on the list. Owens then attacks Jericho backstage with the help of Samoa Joe, and they leave him in a heap after a double powerbomb. 

BACKSTAGE: After the break, Angle informs Rollins isn't in any condition to wrestle tonight, but that he will find him a partner.

#1 CONTENDER TAG TEAM MATCH: Enzo and Cass vs. Sheamus and Cesaro

Cesaro and Enzo start the match with Cesaro getting the early advantage until Enzo connects a leg scissors for a nearfall. Cesaro regains control with a slam. Cesaro tags in Sheamus and Enzo sneaks in a tag to Big Cass who corners Sheamus. The two trade corner shots with Sheamus twisting over the top rope. Cass cuts him over the rope and gains the upperhand. He throws Enzo into both Sheamus and Cesaro in the ring, and then over the ropes outside the ring after the escape. Enzo re-enters the ring as we head to break.

Sheamus is in control of Enzo as we return from break, and Enzo is desperately trying to get the tag to Cass. Enzo manages to dodge an attack from Sheamus but Cass gets distracted on the outside and is isn't there for the tag. Sheamus tries to regain control by tagging Cesaro, who uppercuts Enzo and puts him in the Big Swing. Cass get's involved and makes the tag. Enzo goes for the big splash but Sheamus clocks Cass with a Brogue. Sheamus grabs Enzo off the top rope and throws him to Cesaro who connects an uppercut for the win.

WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDERS: SHEAMUS AND CESARO

SINGLES MATCH: Jinder Mahal vs. Sami Zayn

Zayn is attacked on the apron before the match even starts and runs him into the stairs. Zayn is thrown back into the ring and the official start the match. Mahal unloads on Zayn in the corner and grounds him with knees. He whips zayn and catches him with a knee and grounded dropkick for a nearfall. Mahal puts a headlock on Zayn and once again grounds him with jumping knees. Zayn fights back momentarily but get's caught with more strikes. Mahal charges Zayn but gets caught by an exploder suplex followed by the Helluva Kick for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: SAMI ZAYN

Owens and Joe make their way to the ring, and Rollins makes his way out after to find out who his partner is which is revealed to be...Finn Balor!

TAG TEAM MATCH: Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins and Finn Balor

Rollins and  Owens start the match with a tie up. Rollins goes to the back and Owens reverses. The two trade locks and whips with Rollins getting the better of the exchange. Seth goes for a kick but is countered into a nearfall from owens. Joe is tagged in and him and Rollins unleash a flurry of strikes until Joe corner him with more punches. Rollins attempts to fight back but Joe strikes him down before tagging Owens. Owens corners Rollins, whips him to the other corner and then charges getting dodged. Rollins tags in Finn who unloads on Owens with signature offense. He goes for the Coup de Gra but Owens rolls out. Balor gives chase with a running missile dropkick. They both re-enter the ring and Seth tags in. The two go to attack Owens but he escapes to the outside. Rollins responds with a dive over the ropes onto Owens. Joe saves Owens but Rollins goes for another onto both of them. He tweaks his knee a bit allowing Owens to get the advantage as they re-enter the ring. He connects some strikes and the tags Joe who hits his own strikes. Rollins gets in his own strikes but Joe hits an Enziguri which stops him in his tracks. Joe tags in Owens who corners Rollins with more strikes. Owens grounds Rollins with stomps and a big senton for a nearfall. Owens puts in a modified headlock and Rollins fights out briefly until getting slammed to the mat by his hair. Joe tags in who Grounds Rollins as well until he manages to get some good strikes in. He tries to tag Balor but couldn't reach. Joe and Owens ground Rollins yet again with Joe trying a senton but misses. Rollins uses the opportunity to tag Balor who goes wild on Owens who tagged in as well. Balor chops Owens to the corner and whips him to opposite corners multiple times connects uppercuts. Owens dodges the third one but catches a kick. Owens sneaks in a shoulder slam and attempts the pop up powerbomb but misses, eating a Sling Blade. Balor goes for the missle dropkick but Joe catches him with a Kokida Clutch. Rollins makes the save allowing Balor to hit the dropkick for real this time. He finally connects the Coup de Gra for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: FINN BALOR AND SETH ROLLINS
