An Update On Why WWE Decided To Sign Drew McIntyre

 The former TNA World Champion, Drew Galloway, also known as in WWE, Drew McIntyre was live in Orlando at Takeover last night and he had announced he signed a deal with NXT.

According to The Wrestling Observer, Drew McIntyre’s deal was a last minute one which could possibly mean McIntyre showed up to Orlando to discuss the deal with Triple H that day or the day prior about signing with the company.  It is also being reported that the reason behind the surprise signing was so that NXT could have someone to fill the place of superstar Shinsuke Nakamura, who is being rumored to debut either on RAW or SD Live after WrestleMania. There have also been rumors that McIntyre could be a possible UK Champion once that show gets its start up.
