WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi Relinquishes Title Due To Injury

WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi relinquished her title on tonight's SmackDown Live due to injury.

Naomi suffered a knee injury during her match for the SmackDown Women's Title against Alexa Bliss at the Elimination Chamber. event a couple weeks ago. She did not work the weekend SmackDown live events or last night's live event in San Diego.

Daniel Bryan announced the title will be up for grabs in the opening match for tonight's SmackDown Live. Alexa Bliss will go up against Becky Lynch. We'll have the result shortly.
