On Tuesday night's edition of Talking Smack on the WWE Network, SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan announced that a Battle Royal will take place on next week's edition of SmackDown LIVE. He further announced that the winner of that match will advance to the main event of WrestleMania 33 to face Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship.

For those who missed this week's edition of SmackDown LIVE, Randy Orton stated at the end of the show that even though he won this year's Royal Rumble Match, which earned him the right to challenge for the WWE Championship in the main event at WrestleMania 33, he was refusing to face Wyatt at the event as long as Wyatt was the champion and since Wyatt is "the master" and Orton is "the servant."
