It was announced on Tuesday night's edition of the WWE Network's "Talking Smack" broadcast that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler will be returning to the announce booth to call the 2017 Royal Rumble Match at the upcoming Royal Rumble event. Lawler will call the match alongside Raw's Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

Furthermore, it was also announced that Lawler will be one of the panelists on the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show alongside Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
