Former WWE Superstar Alex Riley was a guest on The Ross Report hosted by Jim Ross. During the interview, he was asked about his issues with John Cena. In 2011, at the time it appeared Riley was on the verge of a big push by WWE but that was halted abruptly.

Riley stated that there was an incident that stopped his push but he can't go into at the moment but it was tough.

Riley also was asked about his thoughts on the departure of CM Punk, he said that he was begging for somebody to give him work and asking people every day why he is not being used and never getting an answer.

“So to hear him push for other opportunities and get it, and then exit in the fashion he exited, I don’t know, I can’t sympathize with that because I wouldn’t do that, I don’t know the details of what he went through, but who knows.”
