Update on Lilian Garcia's Status with WWE

Despite making a surprise appearance at the tapings of WWE's 2016 Tribute to the Troops to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner," it's said that longtime WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia is not scheduled to return to WWE full-time again any time soon after announcing her departure from the company a few months ago.

Her profile on WWE.com was just recently moved from the Current Superstars section to the Alumni section.

As was reported months ago, Lilian made the decision to leave WWE to look after her ill father, who sadly passed away just yesterday according to Lilian's Facebook and Instagram pages.
