At Sunday night's WWE TLC event, James Ellsworth shockingly turned heel during the WWE World Championship Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match main event, in which AJ Styles defended the title against Dean Ambrose.

Ellsworth's surprising heel turn occurred when he pushed Ambrose off of a ladder as Ambrose was about to detach the title from above the ring, sending Ambrose crashing through tables that were set up at ringside. Ellsworth then cheered on as Styles then climbed the ladder to detach the title belt and win the match. Earlier in the match, it had appeared as though Styles would hit Ellsworth with another Styles Clash from off of the steel ringside steps, similar to what had occurred on this past week's edition of SmackDown Live, until Ambrose intervened with a clothesline to Styles.
