Bill Goldberg was paid a "real big-money deal" for his match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, according to to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
The WCW legend is reportedly open to wrestle for the same amount of pay for as long as Vince McMahon wants him to do so. It's likely we will continue to see Goldberg up until WrestleMania 33 where it's speculated he will go against Lesnar again for their third and final match.
There is talk that the set up for the match could go down during the Royal Rumble main event, which Goldberg has officially entered himself into for the second time in his career. It's possible Lesnar and Paul Heyman will cost Goldberg the match.
This is a similar angle to the one WWE did back in 2004, where Lesnar cost Goldberg the Royal Rumble, and Goldberg then cost Lesnar the WWE Title, setting up their WrestleMania 20 match.
