On last week's edition of WWE Raw, it was announced that Sasha Banks would be facing Charlotte for the WWE Women's Championship at this coming Sunday night's Raw-exclusive Clash of Champions pay-per-view event after she was announced as the winner of a Triple Threat Number-One Contender Match that also featured Bayley and Dana Brooke.

However, on this week's edition of Raw, General Manager Mick Foley announced that Charlotte would instead be facing both Sasha and Bayley in a Triple Threat Match for the title at Clash of Champions after footage from last week showed that Sasha and Bayley had actually pinned each other's shoulders to the mat in last week's Triple Threat Match.
