Cody Rhodes Is Going To Work For TNA And ROH

Cody Rhodes, who was a former WWE superstar, will be joining TNA and ROH according to the very latest Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer apparently spoke with Rhodes at PWG’s Battle Of Los Angeles over the weekend. Cody Rhodes deal is different than most other wrestlers in the business as usually superstars do not work both TNA and ROH at the very same time.

It should be noted that TNA wrestlers can work the indies but they cannot work with a company that has a TV deal. In the case here, Rhodes' is allowed to because he wouldn't be under contract to either company. Cody will be working with Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis in TNA, and Rhodes’ wife Brandi will be involved in the feud as well.

She has done ring announcing back in BOLA for her husband. Cody is expected to work with many different people within ROH, but his opponent he has chosen is Adam Cole. Sadly, Cody Rhodes does not have the rights to the "Cody Rhodes" name. He's been using it for indy shows but won't be allowed to use the "Rhodes" name on TV.

He may not even have a last name in TNA or ROH, but here's to hoping Cody can get the rights to the Rhodes name somehow before debuting on either show.  It's worth a share of the tweets he has posted about BOLA down below as well for anyone curious.

And finally, here is a link to listen to the episode
