We reported last night that Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar got into a heated argument following the conclusion of Sunday's WWE SummerSlam main event in which Lesnar left Randy Orton a bloody mess in the middle of the ring.
The argument stemmed from the fact that Jericho was concerned with the well-being of Orton, who he thought might be unofficially attacked in the ring by Lesnar.Â
Jericho tried to establish the facts with producers but wasn't getting any clear response. When Lesnar made his way backstage he overheard Jericho say this was "bullsh*t" and told him it was none of his business. Jericho apparently continued to ask questions before going face-to-face with The Beast who kissed him on the forehead.
Lesnar put his hands behind his back and said "kiss me back, p*ssy" which provoked Jericho further who was ready to fight. Lesnar then said "hit me or kiss me, bitch."
Those around rushed to break the pair up, including Triple H but things didn't calm and Vince McMahon himself rushed to take Brock away. McMahon yelled at Jericho to be more professional. Jericho shouted back that it was Lesnar being the unprofessional one for "shooting" on Orton to which Vince replied, "It’s a work! What’s wrong with you?!"
Sources note that Jericho had the right intentions for concern but the way he handled it was unprofessional.Â
In addition, today on Wrestling Observer Radio Meltzer noted that Lesnar called Jericho a bunch of names that would probably get Brock in a lot of trouble if what he said got out.Â
