Former WCW and WWE Superstar Bill Goldberg will be in New York City for official launch of the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game as 2K Sports is doing a major media event this Friday. 

This will be the first time since March 2004 that Goldberg has worked with WWE, albeit under the 2K banner promoting the video game franchise.

Speculation will no doubt be rife that Goldberg may return on WWE television or at Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view, but that is unconfirmed at this stage and we should note that Goldberg has not signed a WWE on-screen talent contract.
